this was his first concert in the UK. the dvd of this whole concert is in the 30th anniversary box set of born to run. he tore down all the promo flyers in the arena before the concert because he wanted them to see the music and not the hype

i was 19 in'87 and was'nt into bruce at all,i listened to hard rock and metal only, but the piano version of this song and the acoustic version of no surrender on live'75-'85 changed everything far as my taste in music, it was like finding buried treasure.

i am 14, and i totally love bruce, and all the other classics. (beatles, eric clapton ect...) not alot of kids my age are into this kinda stuff. i have a couple friends who are. Thats basicly why they are my friends, we all love great music and its our passion. i would love to be born around this time it makes me so sad when i think about the garbage bands are putting out these days
