Boring version compared to this of Brenda Lee!! Even Skeeter Davis sang it mostly crappy and in a quite boring way ... like this one ... that guy doesnt sound as if he ever had a singing instructor or singing lessons ... :/

Sorry Peter(nothing against The Hermits)but Skeeter Davis's version is the Classic by far!

I love Herman's Hermits' version of this song, but in fairness, Skeeter Davis' original is still the best recording of the song. For a song where the Hermits DID do a better recording than the original artists, check out "Silhouettes." As done by The Rays, it's a minor Doo-Wop number, but Noone & Co. inject some real life into it, and, unlike so many Hermits' numbers on which Jimmy Page is alleged to have contributed his guitar work, he actually did play the solos on that one!
