"if any its a god who wants us to do our own thing"... haha...that's kind funny/awesome...cos that's EXACTLY what the God all-mighty wants. He gives us a chance to choose to worship Him or not. We, Christians, have decided to worship Him. It's awesome though that you just talked about the freedom of choice God offers :)

abandon the prejudice, and have an open mind about the possibility of God existing. You'll be surprised at the way you'll start to view things. and God didn't make nature evil...we did that ourselves. nor is our faith slowing us down or leaving us vulnerable. you say there's much bigger things to worry about...what about what happens to you after you die, or the way you live your life. wouldn't you consider that paramount? think about it...

dwqda, why do you feel the need to rip down a faith, simply because you don't believe in it. can you disprove the existance of God? no. Just as things of the almighty 'scientific' realm, for instance, evolution, you can't firmly prove the existance of God, or evolution, with out one key ingredient....faith. That's what makes all the difference. It depends largely on how you choose to interpret the things around you. Myself, I see the hand of an almighty God in the things around me.
