Well, what I really mean is that Gretchen Wilson wrote about the wrong end of Cali (lol). Every time tourist come to Cali, that's all they notice is the "Paris Hilton" type (thanks to Hollywood). But that's fine, that's like me going to Alabama, looking out for rednecks.

Not all Cali girls are Paris Hilton material... I recall all girls from NorCal is Paris Hilton material. But as for South Cali, I'd say it's a whole different story.

Maybe or maybe not...It isn't as cut and dry as that. There are plenty of women living paycheck to paycheck who aren't living with their parents and having kids with different people. At my job, I know plenty of people who have stable lives and families, and who are doing pretty well for themselves considering their financial issues.
Nothing is black and white, but Wilson's song does portray a group of women in a bad light, and that's pretty egotistical. No one person is above another. |
